This beautiful 1977 Chevrolet Corvette was purchased locally from a well-respected collection that featured multiple Corvettes. It's been cared for by someone who really knew what they were doing, and it shows throughout the entire vehicle.
Originally, this Corvette came from the factory in Corvette Bright Yellow (Code 56) with Brown Cloth and Leather interior (Code 69C), but it's been beautifully repainted in Classic White. The color change gives it a really elegant, timeless look that suits the car perfectly. The car presents beautifully overall. Sure, only upon close inspection of the paint you'll find a few minor flaws, but nothing that takes away from how good it looks. The original interior maintains excellent structural integrity, showing appropriate patina consistent with careful use, including expected wear patterns on the driver's seat.
Here's where this Corvette really shines - the drivetrain. This thing just runs incredibly well. No overheating issues, no squeaking (you know how some Corvettes can be), every system works exactly as it should. It's been a real joy to drive without any worries.
The powertrain configuration merits particular attention, featuring matching-numbers L48 engine paired with the original matching-numbers four-speed M21 transmission. This represents an extraordinarily rare factory combination, as statistical records indicate only 4.2% of 1977 Corvettes were specified with manual transmission from the factory.
